Community Meetups

Finding your people, in a space built for you.

Local meetups in Nottinghamshire

We’re putting together relaxed, low-energy gatherings around Notts where you can just show up and be yourself!

Finding friends as a neurodivergent adult is hard work. Constantly translating yourself, masking your quirks, or recovering from noisy, overwhelming environments. You shouldn't have to mask, force small talk, or navigate an obstacle course just to hang out with people who actually "get it" - and get you!

Seen & Supported meetups are here for just that!

Small, cosy groups

Every meetup is completely free, but tickets are capped so groups stay small and comfortable. Think warm drinks, cosy seating, and real conversations with people who actually speak your language, without having to shout over a noisy room.

What to expect

Low-pressure walks

Maybe easygoing strolls through local nature spots around Notts is more your thing? Walking side-by-side can take away the pressure of forced eye contact, giving you a calmer, more grounded way to connect at your own pace.

No awkward stuff

No forced icebreakers, no going around in a circle sharing "fun facts", and no pressure to make small talk. Whether you want to dive into a hyperfixation, bring a project to work on, or sit quietly with noise-cancelling headphones - feel free to what feels right for you.

Peace of mind

If there's anything else you're wondering about or need to let us know, just reach out. We're always here to help you feel comfortable before stepping out the door.

What to expect

  • A calm, home-from-home space to relax, move around, and go at your own pace, with plenty of hot brews, cold shakes, and fresh bakes available.

  • A low-sensory atmosphere with no background music and no noisy commercial coffee machines grinding in the room to compete with, keeping ambient sound levels soft and peaceful.

  • No pressure or awkward icebreakers - eye contact and small talk are entirely optional!

  • Low-demand table setups stocked with sensory fidgets, quiet puzzles, and adult colouring so your hands always have something soothing to do.

  • An open, welcoming room for anyone formally diagnosed, self-identified, or quietly exploring.

What we hope for you

That you walk out feeling completely seen, supported, and understood, or simply having enjoyed a brew (or a shake!) and a bake in a space where you never have to explain your brain.

Our biggest hope is that you leave with:

  • A lighter, "shoulders-down" feeling from stepping into a room where unmasking is the total default and no one is judging.

  • Real clarity and validation, whether that’s a new insight into your brain, practical life strategies, or answers on assessments and support.

  • A genuine connection with people who truly get what day-to-day neurodivergent life feels like.

Friendly Faces in the Space

Meet Stella
Certified ADHD & AuDHD Coach

I’m a late-diagnosed AuDHDer, ND mum, (and resident pattern spotter, detail detective, and relentless finder of practical solutions). I wanted to create a space where you can safely unpack your journey, tackle task freeze, and untangle support like Access to Work and adjustments, or simply exist in a room where people already get it.

I’ll be there for casual chats about:

  • Late-identified life, burnout & parenting, relationships, hormones or your latest hyperfocus

  • Breaking down an overwhelming task you’ve been putting off for 3 years (task initiation and avoidance are real!)

  • Asking for workplace adjustments, and applying for the personal, family, and financial support you’re actually entitled to (if only more people knew!)

Meet India
Autism & ADHD Assessor

India is joining us from Portland Assessments, and brings 14 years of SEND experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families. She gives people that formal diagnosis they may be looking for. She’s on hand answer any questions on what really happens during assessment, decoding complex reports, and help you figure out what steps to take next.

She’ll be there for casual chats about:

  • What an assessment actually involves (and taking the overwhelming fear, pressure, and clinical vibe right out of the process!)

  • Child & adult diagnostic pathways and how it all works in practice

  • Making sense of official assessment reports, clinical feedback, and translating complex diagnostic jargon into practical next steps
